Union Valley Concerned About Air Quality Submitted by Ginger Coleman A privately held East Texas company, Navasota Energy, announced that it is seeking permits to build three 543-megawatt natural-gas fired simple cycle power generation facilities in Texas. The three facilities, which Navasota Energy expects to be in service in the spring of 2017, are slated to be in the Electric Reliability Council of Texas (ERCOT) power grid.
